WePlan and VeeOne, a specialist in airline crew planning operations and advisory, announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration brings together WePlan’s advanced technology platform with VeeOne’s hands-on operational expertise across aviation and crew management to support airlines and other workforce-intensive industries worldwide.

The partnership formalizes a long-standing alignment between both organizations. Under the agreement, WePlan and VeeOne will collaborate globally to support customers across the full planning lifecycle: from early-stage assessments and implementation to training, optimization, and long-term operational support.
“Joining forces with WePlan allows us to bring something genuinely new to the market - a seamless end-to-end experience that combines WePlan's expertise in manpower planning optimization with our own deep domain knowledge of crew planners who have dedicated their careers to aviation,” said Johan Holmgren, Co‑Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at VeeOne. “Two distinct strengths, one shared mission. Together, we will support customers at every step of the journey, from pre-study and implementation through training, crew planning assessments, and long-term support. We're excited about this partnership and the value it will bring to our customers. It's where advanced technology meets real-world experience.”
Building on this shared commitment to practical, Franziska Burmester, COO of WePlan, added: “This partnership is about making transformation of manpower planning real. WePlan provides the technology to model scenarios, uncover inefficiencies, and optimize planning decisions. VeeOne ensures those improvements are implemented in a way that sticks in daily operations. With our shared aviation background, we can support airlines globally with one coordinated, end-to-end approach.”
For customers, the partnership combines WePlan’s platform for scenario-driven optimization and planning decision support with VeeOne’s operational expertise in implementing improvements in day-to-day crew and manpower planning.
Lana Jansen, CEO of WePlan, said: “Airlines don’t invest in planning technology to ‘have a tool’, they invest to reduce cost, increase robustness, and free up scarce planning capacity. With VeeOne, we’re combining WePlan’s scenario-driven optimization with hands-on operational expertise to shorten time-to-value, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable ROI: fewer manual steps, better decisions earlier, and more stable manpower planning at scale.”
